High Five for Friday!

Another wonderful week here in my palace! Currently, I am awaiting the arrival of my building materials for my new fence. {I am literally dancing as I type right now, I am so excited!} I'm linkin' up for another #H54F link party with the Fabulous Lauren @From My Grey Desk

High Five For Friday!

YAY!! We totally made it to another Friday!! WHOOP!! WHOOP!!  {read that in a valley girl type voice, it sounds so much more awesome that way...kay?}

Here are my highlights of the week!

1.  Pizza & Beer while mixing cheer music and blogging....sometimes you just need to have one of those nights.

2.  A new recipe I tried out...Chicken Italiana and it was delish, super easy to make, and extremely healthy!  Comment if you want to see it on Tutorial Tuesday!

3.  My sisters new pet, a bearded dragon. I find it to be gross and ugly but she loves it and I was curious...just note I refused did not touch it (I'm a wimp...sue me!)

4.  There use to be a deck here!  Remember when I told you on Motivational Monday that there was something my husband & I were working on?  Well, this is my 2012 revolution, to rediscover my backyard! We are putting in a fence, patio, garden, the whole nine yards! Don't worry, I will blog about it!

High Five For Friday!

Yay! It's Friday! Would you believe I seriously have something to do every stinkin' day of the week?  How the heck did this happen??  I went from being busy b/c of school to being even more busy now that I am done! PHEW!  Oh Well!?!

1.  Seeing my little beauty perform poms for the first time....EVER!  So fun and exciting. {Apparently this weekend she is front row, center, doing an extension all by herself!  *This proud mama has a HUGE smile on her face as she types this!*}

2. My closets' new best friend!

3. This face loves me so much...even if I don't have as much time to run with him right now.

4. Realizing that I can now download my magazine subscriptions to my tablet!  {P.S. this is totally a new feature they added for current paper subscribers...and I am not late jumping on the bandwagon...just sayin' haha!}

5. The simple fact that it IS Friday. (It has been one hell of a week at work!)

High Five For Friday!

A lot has been happening over the week and I am thankful for another beautiful week that had gone by.  Although we had to say good-bye to a life lost too soon (Connor you will always been in our hearts) I jumped for joy at the fact that I wasn't called in for jury duty all week!!  Here are some of my other top five moments!

1. See that?? That is a real deer staring at himself.  The windows at my office are reflective.  It was hard to get a good picture without the damn reflection.  So bummed. I swear to you this deer was an off white color! I have never seen anything like it!

2. Miami Vice.  This was a much needed drink after a long day at work.  'Nuff said.

3. My new art work idea.  Shopping in Bed, Bath, & Beyond can give you a TON of inspiration!

4. Do you every just want to say "you might as well give me one of those kid packs too" when you go to a restaurant?  It seems as though I should since I am always taking over my daughters!


5. I have a guest spot on The Yuppie Files blog today.  See what I am currently loving (p.s. it was written a month or so ago so it is slightly outdated, but who cares!) GO SEE ME THERE TOO!!

Today I am forgoing the normal High Five For Friday Post linkup.  Two nights ago Jesus & his father called my friends 15 month old son home.  Sometimes we don't understand the reasons behind the decisions God makes but we have to accept them.

Today I am holding my daughter a little tighter and mourning the loss of my friends little one.  So much life ahead but we all know God has a better plan for him.

May you rest in peace our sweet angel.

High Five for Friday

High Five y'all it is Friday!!  We've made it through another week of awesomeness!  This week I had a couple of "breakin' downs" or "giving in's" {whatever you want to call it} so to speak.

1. My new favorite necklace that I bought from Charlotte Russe on clearance for $1.99.  I think I have worn it every day this week!

2. A night out to dinner with Birdie, my husband, & I.  We went to Red Robin; which I haven't been since I was pregnant with Bird!  Oh Em Gee!  I forgot how good their food is!


3. I gave in and bought 50 Shades. {It was a cold and rainy night, I was weak!}  I have been reading it and have mixed feelings about it so far...yet I can't put it down. Hmm, thought...who wants to start an internet book club with me?  Comment!!

4. I finally broke down and bought a paper day runner!  Sometimes it is easier than technology! You know what?! I freakin' love this thing too!

5. Sephora happened...again.  (Haul post tomorrow!)

High Five for Friday

FRIDAY!!! Oh how I have missed you!!  I just want to be home this weekend with nothing to do....I mean NOTHING (but what I want to do)!

I'm linking up with Lauren @From My Grey Desk for another H54F & here is what I'm high fivin' this week!

1.  My $3 manicure!  Sephora had some nail polish on clearance for $3 and I had to get it! and I love it! The picture does not do the color justice.  This is Burst of Mango Cream.

2. This week saw some beautiful days.  God has created such a beautiful world!!

3.  This is my THIRD water cup that I have dropped to the ground and broke. I think it may be a sign to find a different type of beverage holder to carry around. Suggestions anyone?  I particularly like ones with straws.

4.  They added new furniture to my office lobby and this lonesome chair is the only one of it's kind....AND I LOVE IT. I want to take it and put it in my office area!  

5.  Do you ever have a day where you just need to "Bun" it?  Yeah, well, yesterday was that day. I have been so tired that I just couldn't get myself up early enough to do my hair....it went right up in a bun!

High Five For Friday!

It is finally Friday Y'ALL!! Thank goodness for that!  Here's another link up with Lauren @ From My Grey Desk!

1. Back to my old stomping ground I go! Back in the day I coached gymnastics and so I took my daughter with me for a private lesson with one of her dance mates!  During a quick break I was able to catch her on the bars...for only about a second and then she was bouncing off to something else.

2. Sick again! BOO!  Went home sick with a sinus infection Tuesday!  Luckily I had the remote, hot tea, my Kindle Fire, and my newest Lucky Magazine to keep me company.

3. OH YEAH BABY! I have been waiting for this day since the schedule came out.  Die hard REDSKINS fan right here!!  RGIII is going to make us proud I just know it! (update: psdotcom...we totally WON!)

4.  Cheer season has officially begun!  Thanks to Alyssa for letting me use her hair bow as a picture for what I am excited to High Five for!!  We are hoping to kick ass and win at the end of the season competition! Wish us luck!

5.  Although I am excited for cheer season to begin, practices can get in the way of some other important things....like [ahem] the Redskins game.  I am convinced that the Cheer Gods live in that cloud there!  Due to some storms with major lightning practice was cancelled.  I know I wasn't the only coach who was happy to have practice cancelled!

Happy Friday!  I'm linking up with Lauren (From My Grey Desk) again for another wonderful week.  This weeks is my vacation version of my H54F!  

1. The MOOSE!  We stop at this rest area every time we make it in to Maine.  Every year We have to get a picture with "The Moose!"
2.  Driving through Rhode Island there was a Pink Fire Truck, Cop Car, & Ambulance! So cool!
3.  The view from the top of Cadillac Mtn. on my Birthday!  What a beautiful way to ring in a new year!
4.  The simple joy of relaxing in a hotel lobby, drinking coffee, and blogging.
5.  My diploma has finally arrived (3 months later)! I am reminded of the hard work I did to receive it! What a rewarding feeling!

High Five for Friday

Y'all it's FRIDAY! I'm hookin' up with Lauren again for this weeks H54F link up!  This week is extra special because as you read this I am on my way to the New England coast!! Driving through the beautiful cities from Maryland to Massachusetts then from Massachusetts to Maine! Long freakin' drive but oh so worth it!  That's enough of that! Here's my five!

1. I may or may not have consumed this double fudge chocolate cake the other day...if it was me just know that it was probably delish and a cup of milk was much needed!
2. My newest bag purchase!  Betsey Johnson!  Retail $98....TJ Maxx price....$39  I'm in love!
3. Lunch with co-workers....this sandwich was so yummy!  I may or may not have felt guilty for possibly consuming a chocolate cake previously so I only ate half.
4. I pack like a boss!  Believe it or not there are enough outfits and shoes in here for the 6 days we are in Maine (the 1 day in MA is packed in an over night bag) for both my husband & I....did I mention this is including shoes! Can I get a "WHOOT WHOOT!"
5. SIX WHOLE DAYS OFF OF WORK!
