First up in the my new series (which will air every Saturday!) Sephora's Color Play Palette II is the A Nod to Mod, section of this wonderful palette. This look was by far my fav look. P.S. I got my brushes from http://www.crownbrush.com/
Take a look!
Want to play with this look?!?!? Here is how to do it!

V-Day, Not Your Normal Look!
Valentines is a day to cherish and honor the love in your life. In my opinion, it is too commercialize for me and I much rather be curled up on my couch watching a movie with my husband and kids then go out in the craziness of restaurants and stores. I remember when I used to think V-Day was everything! I use to get so sad when I didn't have anyone to spend it with! HAHAHA! Now I sing a different tune!
That said, a lot of makeup looks are done with pinks & reds for this holiday. I on the other hand wanted to give you guys something different to try out. Whether you are going out or staying in, try this look on for size. It is definitely my husbands favorite thus far!
Eyes
Sephora Color Play Palette II, Angelic Boudoir
#24 & #26 - Which are a medium Orchard/lavender color & a magenta (you will hear me struggle to explain this color) I researched and "magenta" was the closest to the description! hahaha!
Urban Decay UD <3's NYC Palette
Bordello & Snatch - Bordello is a like a soft mauve color and Snatch is a soft pink with gold shimmer undertones
Sephora Anniversary Palette
I don't know the numbers but the colors are like a semi-sweet chocolate brown & a light-wood ash brown
Urban Decays 24/7 liner in Ransom
Hard Candy's Walk the line liner in Sugar Plum
L'Oreal Double Extend Mascara - use this so you don't have to worry about falsies!
Cheeks
Sephora Color Play II Palette, Angelic Boudoir (its just a pink blush)
Lips
1000 Kisses by Rimmel London in Natural
L'Oreal in Fairest Nude
Lip Gelee by MAC in Resort Life
No matter what you plan to do, hope your day is filled with love and joy from the people that truly matter! Enjoy!

Revolution Post - Month One Down
Hey Everyone! Soooooo 1 month down and we are off to a pretty darn good start. As you can see in the first month we were able to get rid of 6.5% of our debt! WooHoo! You know what else is awesome....the fact that it is this month and we get to pay off a credit card this month!
So, I have been looking around the net and ran in to this awesome website that is also challenging its readers to go Debt Free in 2011! Click here to read all about it. They are already on Week 5 I believe but that is okay. They offer a couple of worksheets to help everyone become debt free.
I am going to stick with how I am doing mine right now, because I already started and it seems to be working for us. However, I found the website had a TON of usuful information. They are always updating with free deals and coupons and such!! So, check it out.
Meanwhile, we are continuing to pay down debts and this month I think we are filing out TAXES which is great, because we are going to pay off 2 items not included in the overall debt... YAY!!
Hope there are some of you out there jumping on the bandwagon with me!
Jacksons & Benjamins Ahoy!

Check It!
OMG! I am totally in love with this manicure - & pedicure if you are lucky - all thanks to Sally Hansen's newest product, Salon Effects Nail Strips! If you haven't seen these then you need to RUN to your local Walmart or Drug store and get them! They have all different styles!!!
They cost about $8.50 @ Walmart and are suppose to last for at least 10 days. Mine leopard print ones lasted for over two weeks. I also saved the extra's to do my toes!
The only negatives to this is 1) it is possible to get a bad batch. My BF did and they didn't work when she tried to put them on! BOO! Click Here to Check out her Blog! && 2) They are hard as HECK to get off. Be prepared to be scrubbing a lot longer than usual!
Okay so here is the nitty gritty. Check it!
