Packing our little Hearts Out!

Welp, it's another busy weekend!  We are packing out little hearts out b/c we are heading to the Chesapeake for weekend get-away/dance competition!  We are staying at a fabulous resort (I'll post about it next week) and getting from what seems like a great weather weekend! (AHHHHH so awsome)!

Anyway, I may not be on the blogosphere much this weekend but I will be tweeting my little heart out! So join me! I'll be posting tons of instagrams too!

Hello March! Lot's of Happenings!

I cannot believe it is already March.  People we are 2 months put away for the year already!!  What the heck!  I swear time moves at warp speed once you hit the age of 18!

I'm excited for this month though!  This month is going to be SUPER busy between the blog and home it's nuts!

Expect to see continued Manicure Monday linkups, a new tutorial every Tuesday (Tutorial Tuesday, duh!), the new WeightNot Wednesday theme, as well as, the Fashion Friday linkups.  I will continue to spotlight different blogs every Sunday for Spotlight Sunday and I am going to be doing more product reviews for the items I purchase and/or receive.

Bird's dance competition season begins next weekend so I am most likely going to have some more postings in regards to that.  It is very exciting, nerve wrecking, and tiring all combined in to one big tortilla!  But it is sooooo worth it!

As you may have noticed I have opened up a little shop page on my blog.  Take a look, the items are super cute!

I also decided that I am close to 100 followers on the blog (via GFC) and 100 followers on Facebook & I'm inching closer everyday to 300 followers on Twitter!  I will do another giveaway when I hit each of those milestones.  So, once I hit 100 followers on the blog & FB, plus 300 followers on Twitter, I will give away 3 gift cards valued at $20 each.

Excuses, Excuses

Yup, that is all I have for you.  Here's the latest.  I tested positive for the Lyme's since my last post....in other words, I was still actively infected. SURPRISE!!  So I had to do another round of treatment and guess what?  That didn't work.  I am now seeing a specialist who does not believe the Lyme Disease is the sole provider of my problems.  In other words, she believes that it may be masking something else going on within my body.  Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, blah, blah, blah.  All I know is I have given more blood to Lab Corp than I have cared too, I have more questions about my health than answers, more doctors appointments lined up than I care to go to, and I still feel like crap.

I truly hate this thing, it's evil I tell you!

I was looking back at one of my older posts that had popped up and realized, I truly, madly, deeply (yes, I am singing Savage Garden in my head right now) miss my blog. I miss writing in to the world of the unknown and seeing the stats rise and fall and answering the questions and comments that I get from complete strangers.

I miss having the energy to keep up with everything and feeling like I am doing something I really love, rather than sitting at my office being blah all the damn time.

I am seriously in bed by seven-freaking-thirty and probably asleep before the clock even hits eight p.m. It is quite ridiculous and I feel like a loser.  The good news is my doc prescribed me some happy pills to take the edge off since it seems that I have become depressed from being sick all the time.  The pills seem to be working "somewhat" and I know with time I will be back on here full-force and ready to go in no time!

Happy Pills are here to STAY!

For now I am extremely active on Twitter (@Queen_Nicole01), it's unhealthy really, and instagram (@queennicole01) chatting it up and such.

I have a ton of projects I am working on and I want to share them so please stay with me as I know I will be back soon. I just have too!

High Five For Friday!

Yay! We made it to Friday!! Linkin' up w/Lauren {From My Grey Desk} again for another H54F!!  This week truly has been a blessing and I am SO glad it is the weekend!!

1. Do you see how damn hot it was Saturday @ almost 5 PM?  Yes, we were definitely over the 100 degree mark. I believe meterologist clocked {is this correct terminology?} us at 105 degrees at one point.  Ridiculous right?!

2. I had a blast bowling with Bird & my husband!  Birdy won....[*like legit won*]!  I totally choked at the end! I totally had them the entire game!!  I am devastated by this & I have already demanded a rematch!

3. I got to see my man play softball for the first time...EVER! He plays on an adult league with my baby brother.  They take it very serious...like with beer and everything!

4. Yes! The Dollar Tree has opened up in my hometown (the next town over from where I live) & this is very exciting!!!  I guess only small town people understand the huge excitement of this!

5. I received a new twitter follower this week. I always checkout my new followers...this one in particular (@joshingstern) was an author. So I downloaded his book and so far I love it!  It is rude, crude, and a true story!  If you are sensitive to offensive language than this book may not be for you but I love his sense of humor and sarcastic personality...definitely my kind of people; especially since the make your life SO much more funny!
