Fashion Friday - Boyfriend Jeans

Happy Good Friday!!! This week's Fashion Friday linkup is brought to you by....Bird....Yet again this little fashionista has inspired another one of my posts.  For me, I never would have even thought about "Boyfriend" jeans if it wasn't for her.  About a year ago we were shopping at Old Navy and she insisted on a couple of pairs of these types of jeans.

Now, they have become her staple piece of her wardrobe.  They are cute, comfy, and down right fabulous!  I love the bootcuts and skinny jeans, but after search and researching these style of jeans, I think I may have to invest in a pair...especially if I continue to get to my goal weight/size!  In fact, there is my incentive. 10 lbs and I will have to go purchase one of these little babies!

Fashion Friday - Statement Pieces

This past weekend I went shopping with my girls...a much needed outing...and I came across some FABULOUS jewelry. I'm a sucker big necklaces, a.k.a. statement pieces. I was searching necklaces on the internet just because I want to increase my collection and came across some of these fabulous pieces!!

Fashion Friday - OOTD

Okay, so this has been one hell of a two weeks!!  Last week I had strep, then Bird got a stomach bug, then I got the stomach bug Birdie had, then Bird got strep....yeah it was awesome & I was M.I.A pretty all week.  It SUCKED! So I haven't really gotten up enough energy to really get myself completely fashionable lately (i.e. I looked like a "college student" yesterday according to my boss...which is actually fine by me b/c that means I still look YOUNG! BOOM!)

Anyway, today I am showing you what I am wearing to work today, comfortable and casual, yet still able to get away with it at the office....(psdotcom don't mind the office bathroom pic...I had no choice today....I have not been very organized this week!)

Fashion Friday - Looks 4 Le$$

Okay so Fashion Friday's post is up late, and I totally lamed out on Tutorial Tuesday but I have an excuse....I was dying....or at least I thought I was! No PHO real!  I had such a bad case of strep throat I didn't know how to handle it!  It was horrible and I was bed ridden for DAYS!! Like seriously from Monday night until this morning! It was awful!  So I had a couple of posts already scheduled but Tutorial Tuesday's video needed to be edited and then today's post needed to be finished.  I had a ton of work to catch up on so it kept on getting postponed until now!  So I apologize for missing TT and for FF being late, I'll make it up to you I swear!

Hello March! Lot's of Happenings!

I cannot believe it is already March.  People we are 2 months put away for the year already!!  What the heck!  I swear time moves at warp speed once you hit the age of 18!

I'm excited for this month though!  This month is going to be SUPER busy between the blog and home it's nuts!

Expect to see continued Manicure Monday linkups, a new tutorial every Tuesday (Tutorial Tuesday, duh!), the new WeightNot Wednesday theme, as well as, the Fashion Friday linkups.  I will continue to spotlight different blogs every Sunday for Spotlight Sunday and I am going to be doing more product reviews for the items I purchase and/or receive.

Bird's dance competition season begins next weekend so I am most likely going to have some more postings in regards to that.  It is very exciting, nerve wrecking, and tiring all combined in to one big tortilla!  But it is sooooo worth it!

As you may have noticed I have opened up a little shop page on my blog.  Take a look, the items are super cute!

I also decided that I am close to 100 followers on the blog (via GFC) and 100 followers on Facebook & I'm inching closer everyday to 300 followers on Twitter!  I will do another giveaway when I hit each of those milestones.  So, once I hit 100 followers on the blog & FB, plus 300 followers on Twitter, I will give away 3 gift cards valued at $20 each.

Okay can I just say how much I love Metallic??  It's back and better than ever!  I saw this little photo from Refinery29.com come across my email and was in heaven!

I have seen a lot of metallic fashion items on sale these days and my inner goddess/fashionista is jumping for joy! Anything that sparkles is amazing but metallic is pretty damn awesome too!  Check out some of these other awesome Metallic finds!

Fashion Friday - OOTD Kid's Wear

I want to welcome my very special guest to this weeks Fashion Friday linkup!  It is my daughter and she couldn't wait to be featured in one of my posts!

Fashion Friday - Look 4 Le$$, Katherine McPhee

Oh we have made it to FRIDAY!!  This weeks Fashion Friday linkup I decided to do another Look 4 Le$$ post b/c I absolutely love trying to find great looks for under $100!!  The February Lucky magazine cover girl was the gorgeously tall, sultry brunette known only as Katherine McPhee!  All of her photos were fabulous, but this simple outfit she wore in her photo shoot sent me in to a frenzy! I absolutely love the skater skirt and crop top combo on her.  So I set out to find the look for less & voila! This is what I came up with all for under $100! The grand total for her ensemble: a whopping $1,544!!

So it's not a perfect match but the gist is there.  I even added the pumps to give it a little more "pizzazz" so to speak! I think it is a fabulous look! What do you all think?  It makes me want to Spring Forward and get this winter over with!  Plus, it is much less than that $1500+ price tag she has on!
