Take a Tour of My Resort!

So as you may remember, I was at a Dance Competition in Maryland this past weekend which just so happened to be 10 minutes from the Chesapeake.  We went last year and stayed at the Chesapeake Beach Resort and Spa and was so in love that we were stoked that we were staying there again!  If you ever get a chance to visit this little town this is a must stay resort.  Although the pool isn't massive and the beds aren't the most comfortable the scenery is FABULOUS and there is a bar right next door.  There is also a dock for fishing among many other awesome activities.

Lot's of Ducks in the Morning!

So I am an idiot and didn't take any picks of the inside but their website has wonderful pics to give you a good idea.  I actually wish I new about this place years ago. I totally would have done my wedding here!

Fashion Friday - What I'm Traveling In

Hello Revolutioniers!  I've been on vacation for the past week so for this Fashion Friday I decided to dedicate it to what I wear when I travel.  We traveled from Maryland to Massachusetts for one day before making the rest of the way up to the beautiful east side of Maine! For me, I still want to be stylish and cozy when I am traveling!  It's a freakin' long ass drive from Maryland to Massachusetts {let alone Maine!}

First off, I wear very little make-up...meaning I only wear my cover up foundation, some tinted primer on my eyes, mascara and some gloss! That's it!  I may put on a little extra on during the ride but that is usually b/c I am super bored and need something to do!

For my clothes, I am wearing black capri leggings, a gray cami, and a high-lo tee that I found for Wal-Mart.
Please excuse the tiredness of this pic...I just drove 7.5 hours. I'm exhausted! =)

I love this tee, esp. for the $10 I paid for it at Wal-Mart, however, the little designs rub off quickly when you have a seat belt on it for about 7.5 hours....Boo to that!

I also find it really important to wear easy slip on shoes.  These I found at Claire's at the beginning of the spring season.  I love them!  You can find them here (on sale too!)

P.S. when I say "I" I mean my HUSBAND!

What do you all travel in?  Send me pics or tweet (@Queen_Nicole01) at me if your traveling now!

Motivational Monday - You Only Live Once

Happy Monday Revolutioniers!  Today is July 30th and today is also my (& my brother's) birthday.  The older I get the more I feel the need to appreciate my life, what I have accomplished, what I have left to do, and who I have become.  I am proud of what I have accomplished and I have large ambition of what more I want to do with my life.  More importantly, I am proud of who I am and what I have become as a human being and a follower of a higher power. But there is so much more to do in order to continue my journey in life.

With the recent shooting in Aurora, CO I have to remind myself that our time is precious with each other.  We only have so much time in this world to spend with the people we love. With that I am also reminded of the lack of time to spend doing things that I want to do before I die.  So, for this Motivational Monday I am starting my bucket list.  I have all these ideas but never write them down.  Without them written it is so easy to forget or write them off.

Today I am motivating you to join me in creating your list.  Leave your links to blog posts or just simply tell me what you want to do.  We are only getting older and we only live once.  We should embrace this time and be happy doing it!

My {Beginning} Bucket List

  1. Witness my daughters grow up
  2. Witness my daughters graduate high school
  3. Witness my daughters graduate college
  4. Witness my daughters get married
  5. Learn to sew
  6. Get over my fear of flying (long flights mostly)
  7. Go to Europe
  8. Move to New England
  9. Be able to have a job that I love that still allows me to be with my family as much as possible
  10. Obtain "premium" VIB status with Sephora
  11. Adopt a child
