WeightNot Wednesday - Week 2 is down for the count

But my weight is not....Boo! But that is okay. I stayed the same this week and that is a good thing.  Since we were away this weekend and there was virtually nowhere that had decent food I think I did pretty darn good.  I think my down fall was not being able to eat at the same times and the fact that I "cheated" a little with the snacks that were around.  Although I didn't eat a lot of the snacks, it probably was the reason why there was not weight loss.  I also missed all the supplements.  Yup, I forgot all of them! I think that may have had an impact too.

I do have to say I was a bit depressed to see that I gained whatever I lost back for the week. I was finally under a certain weight that I hadn't seen in YEARS!! and now I am back above it b/c of this weekend.  But then I thought to myself: HEY! WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?!?!? and you know what? I am right. What do I seriously expect if I do not follow the diet to a tee?

Here is a few updates:

  1. This fiber drink is HORRRRRRIIIIIIBBBBBLLLLLLEEEEE!!! I can't stomach it! It gets all gel like if you don't suck it down right away.  That texture makes me gag.  So I don't drink it in the morning any more. I fill up my cup right before I leave work and suck it down on my 2 minute walk to my car.  I have to pee so bad by the time I get home but it's the only way I can drink it.
  2. I'm still drinking the carbonated water....it is soooo good! And it curves my sweet tooth cravings
  3. Gum...sugar free chewing gum is fabulous!
  4. This week I start the NutriPace day which is a one day per week where you significantly cut down your calories.  I'll have an update about that next week once I have completed that day.
So that is it for now.

Here is to kicking ass to the next week. =)

WeightNot Wednesday - Week One Complete!

Hi Everyone!  I have successfully completed the first week of WeightNot and am proud to announce that I have lost approx. 5 lbs and .5 inches off my waist!  I'm pretty damn proud of those results!  Ultimately I would like to have seen a bigger loss but all in all I think 5 lbs is not too shabby.

I got a second package in the mail to start the second phase of the diet.

A HUGE box of pills & another jug of fiber supplement.  So I know that I complained about the fiber supplement this past week.  Well that one has got nothing on this crap I have to drink every morning.  It is beyond awful and the longer it sits the more it becomes like apple sauce or something of the sort. It is just terrible.

The amount of pills are crazy too.  But it's only b/c I am one who doesn't really like to take pills anyway. I find that it is easier to choke 'em down with carbonated water.

So here is a couple of things that I am doing that has helped with this diet:
  1. Carbonated water. I drink the flavored ones, it gets rid of my cravings for soda...even the diet kind. I am not 100% sure if I am suppose to be drinking this but, I am and haven't really had any negative effects from it
  2. I found out about TURKEY and CHICKEN sausage for breakfast!  This stuff is amazing, and you can find some "all natural" selections in the frozen section of your grocery store!  I am so busy that it is hard for me to make everything natural like they want you too, so this little shortcut has been a great find.  I just made sure to read the ingredients.  Luckily, it was all meat and seasonings.  Not additives or anything
  3. I couldn't give up my coffee. I tried....I mean really tried! But on the days that I didn't drink it I didn't loose weight, and on the days I did, I lost weight. Not sure what the correlations is all about but I've decided to only have 2 cups/day and lessen the amount of coffee creamer (I only use creamer and don't add sugar).
  4. Fitness Pal!  OK, fitness pal is much easier to use then the HUGE ass book they gave me to read and monitor my progress....so if you are on fitness pal then add me! I give access to what I am eating every day in case you want some meal ideas!  Even if you are not doing the diet, I have some really great low calorie high-protein low fat meal ideas and recipes on there!  My User ID is QUEENNICOLE01 ADD ME!!! =)
JR30Mommmy had asked a couple of questions on last weeks blog post and I have yet to get back to her so I figured what I would do is answer the questions here in this blog post.  I think that is how I will handle questions from here on out. So comment your questions away and look back at the next blog post for the answers!

How was doing the detox on Monday? The detox really wasn't too bad. I was hungry; I'm not going to lie. AND I was a total bitch to my husband, but he got over it!  All in all it was just fine. Monday I was home all day b/c it was a "snow" day and then Tuesday I was at work and I was super busy so it kept my mind off of being hungry.  Whatever you do stay busy and keep your mind from thinking about food and you'll make it out just fine!

So I totally forgot to take a "before" pic. So this is one that I had from 2 days before I started the diet. My shirt is slightly big on me but all in all this is a pic of what I look like now.  Some people may be like what the heck you aren't HUGE! but I am overweight and I am ready to be 100% healthy.

Okay! On to another fabulous week! Leave me any questions you have below!! =)

WeightNot Wednesday!

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  The WeightNot has come.....to my house. {That was in my Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson voice, just in case you were wondering!}  OMG! It took forever and I was extremely disappointed in the length of time it took to get to my house and the customer service with the organization.  Not a way I wanted to start of this program!

I ordered this back in the beginning of February and then after 2 weeks of not hearing anything I emailed the person who was so desperately wanting my $$$ and to sign up and a week later....I still hadn't heard anything from her. So, I emailed back but this time with a tone that wasn't as pleasant as I had been previously.  That got her.  She finally emailed back the next day saying my package was set to ship on the 13th....well guess what? The 13th came and went and still no package as of the 19th.  It finally shipped out the day after that or so.  Anyway, I wasn't happy about that at all!

Okay on to the good stuff!

The program is WAYYYYY different than when I did it previously.  There are no injections, and while it is a low calorie diet, it's not as low as before.  That said....it is wayyyy more expensive than I remember paying.  I paid a little over $1600 for the 67 day program. That is about a $600+ difference than before.

What is in my Kit?

  • WeightNot Notebook
  • WeightNot Cooler
  • WeightNot NutriScription DetoxiFiber
  • WeightNot NutriScription VitaScription
  • WeightNot NutriScription LiverPrimer
  • BPA Free Water Bottle/Shaker
  • Pedometer
  • Tape Measure
  • Ketone Sticks
  • Digital Food Scale

I started Monday and have already lost 3.4 pounds! So all that complaining is was kind of worth it in the end. It is always great to see a good jump to keep you going.

The first two days however, was this liquid only diet.  In the AM and PM I had to drink 2 scoops of the berry flavored NutriScription fiber supplement and take 3 of the NutriScription oral supplements.  Let me see how to describe this delicious drink. Okay, it tastes like berry flavored dirt! It is so nasty it takes every ounce of my being to suck down this crap.  The pills smell horrible and make me nauseated.  I was starving and the only good thing was because I mixed the fiber supplement with water I could have 2 glasses of pure fruit juice throughout the day.  Let me tell you, fruit juice never tasted so good.

That said, all that complaining, bitching, and feeling down right horrible paid off though.  And today, when I get to eat my meals I will savor each and very bite.

So what's next?  Well for the remaining 5 days I get to be on a 1200 calorie diet.  I will continue with the fiber and supplements, but I will now add a liver primer supplement.  In the AM I can have a serving of fruit and protein...since I am allergic to eggs, I think I will try hummus. In the afternoon I can have a serving of veggies and protein, and in the PM I can have a serving of fruit, veggie, and protein.

Of course there is the 2 liter minimum water intake which is really important, that I am doing as well.

So this is pretty much my start of the program. From now until I finish my program each Wednesday will be a WeightNot Program update!

Here's to getting fit and healthy! xoxo

WeightNot Wednesday - Coming Soon

I still get a great deal of emails and responses about the WeightNot Program and it was my understanding that the program has changed quite a bit since I had did it.  When I finished the program I was okay with the weight I had lost, although in the back of my mind I wanted to loose more.

So, I decided to check in to the WeightNot program again and have decided that I want to kick this last 20 lbs that I want to loose.  I have purchased the 67 day program and am currently waiting for the materials to come in.  Once the package is received I will be doing WeightNot Wednesday.

What is WeightNot Wednesday you ask?  Well, I will be going over the program with readers and giving an update on my weekly progress.  I encourage anyone that is on the program now to join in the conversation with me OR if you are doing a different weight loss program I want to know how you are doing.

Once I have the package with all the materials I will go over what the contents are, how the program works, the difference from before and most importantly....the COST!!

Here's too finally finishing off that last bit of weight for good!

Weight Not Follow Up

I started this blog 2+ years ago to help me on my weight loss journey using the Weight Not program.  I still continue to get many messages asking me about the program so I figured I would do a follow up.

The Weight Not program worked for me...for the most part. I'm not going to lie I fluctuate about 5-7 lbs here or there, but that is mainly because I get lazy and don't work out and am not careful about what I eat.  That said, I haven't really been motivated to because I was so sick {if you missed that post click here}.

Here are the answers to the main questions I get asked all the time:
  1. Is it expensive? Yes, it is very expensive.
  2. How much is it? They were running a special around the time that I did it.  I can't remember the exact price, but I know that it was clear over $1,000...I did it through Reveal MedSpa who is now Medalase...
  3. Was it worth it? Yes, and no.  Yes, b/c I lost a good chunk of the weight I had be desperately trying to loose for years, but no b/c I think it is ridiculous the amount of money I had to spend to do it.
  4. What does the diet entail?  It was 40+ days of HCG injections and an extremely LOW calorie diet...like 500 calories low. <---Which I think was the true key to the diet...not the injections but who am I to judge research...I'm not a scientist by any means.  No working out, nothing but really the same foods just fixed in different ways and that was pretty much it.
  5. Is it hard? Yes, Yes, YES!  It is not for the faint at heart.  In other words, people w/o will power or any type of motivation will fail.  Plain and simple...you have to be able to really want this.  I really wanted it and I get embarrassed easily so I refused to fail in front of someone (i.e. my Weight Not representative)
  6. Would I do it again?  Yes, I would....not for $1,000, but I would do it again.  Actually I toyed with the idea for a little while now only because I want to loose another 10 but who knows what will happen.  I am sure to let you all know though in case I do.
Here is what I looked like then....

And this is what I look like now...
So I still have the belly flab...that has been the most difficult to loose...but that is also what happens with a C-Section! I started the 300 Ultimate Ab & Core Challenge Workout to see if I can flatten it some.  We will see! =)

Any other questions just let me know below or send me another email.

Curious anyone else out there do the program?  How was your results?

Missing Blogger --FOUND!

Okay so I went MIA for a week...Sorry about that! Between everything going on with the car, work, and school, I just kind of lost track.  Plus, it was Bird's birthday and I needed to plan that also (post soon to come about the theme and stuff...[super excited!]  But, I am back and ready to get moving on this.  I have a whole lot of posts coming soon including: an update on Weight Not, b/c people still ask me about it, and update on my Jillian Michael's 30 day shred, an awesome society I am a part of, new themes for more days of the week, and much, much more! I have so many ideas I just need to sit down and organize....maybe I will do a post on organizations as well!

Fashion Friday is today& I will have a post up & ready for ya!

Overwhelmed & Motivated to move on!

30 days to Shred?

I have done really well at not gaining weight back after I did the WeightNot diet however, I have done a horrible job at keeping my muscles toned so... I LOOK FAT!  I hate that word and even though many would argue, I highly disagree and there is no nicer way to put it!  I am tired of feeling all the jiggles when I walk, run, jump (bah! like I actually do a lot of that!) and pretty much everything else during the day. So, I read up on Jillian Micheals', one of my all time favorite trainers (along with Chalene Johnson), 30 day shred. A couple of my friends have started it and there has been some decent reviews about it, so I decided to give it a try. Last night I began my 30 day journey and let me tell yah, for someone who has been doing the stationary bike for the past month at least 3-4 days per week (30 minutes a day --hey not bad! Last week I did it 6 days!) she still kicked my ass!

So it says you can loose up to 20 lbs in 30 days. I don't believe that and I don't really care about lbs. I just want to loose inches b/c that means I am toning up and getting lean muscle instead of this wobbly mess I like to pretend has muscle attached somewhere.  Also, my ass is HUGE! While many people love large derrières mine is outta control. Don't get me wrong I love being a "bubble butt" as my mother use to put it ever so gently to my low self-esteem self, it needs to get toned and slim down ever so slightly.

I took a couple of pictures (clothes on...how do these people gain the confidence to do it in the bra & underwear) I haven't gained the strength to post them just yet. Maybe in my next post?

There are three levels of the program. After each level I will update you followers on my progress.  If it works I may move on to one of her other DVDs!

Feel free to join me and don't forget to follow me on Twitter & FB and we can do it together!

Here's to Kickin' Ass & Slimin' Up!

Ear Bleeds, Nose Bleeds, A Rock, & A Review

I really wanted to give you all the review of the WeightNot Program on Monday, however; numerous events occurred that hindered me from having the ability to do so.

Ear Bleeds
On Sunday and Monday, my husband had blood draining from his ear. Gross, I know. I told him he must go see a doctor, but who listens to their wife, when they work with a bunch of electricians who seem to think they are doctors themselves. It wasn’t until his foreman told him it is dangerous for him not to be able to hear on the jobsite and he needs to go get it checked out. So, Mike thanks for telling my husband for me, since he listens to you better than he listen to me. Turns out, he has a middle ear infection….most commonly found in children. HA! Suspicions have been confirmed. He really is just an over grown kid!

Nose Bleeds
Now, on to lovely Tuesday! Around 3 pm, I received a call from the Health Room at my daughter’s school. Apparently, her nose started bleeding out of nowhere and when she saw the blood she proceeded to pass out (the nurse believes that this was just the reaction to seeing all the blood). Luckily, the nurse got to her before she hit the ground.

A Rock
Tuesday night, my oldest had a softball game. I got my Bird (my little one’s nickname) all cleaned up and ready to go (same one who had the nose bleed). Shortly in to the third inning, I heard a blood-curdling scream. Yes, it was from Bird. She was playing with another little boy who decided to throw a rock at her head (right above her eye). Now, he is only 3 I don't think it malicious, however, she has a nice lump on her head. Oh yes, it has been an eventful past few days! Ahhh, the fun of husbands and kids!

A Review
Now to what you have been waiting for. Among all the craziness in my household the past few days, I did have my last appointment for the WeightNot program and technically, I am off the diet. However, I am on a transition period for the next two weeks to help “reset” my body.
This program was amazing! As you can see, I still have some weight to loose, however, realistically; I realized that 20 lbs was probably the amount I would see fall off. This diet is not for the weak. As with any other diets, it is hard and it is a lifestyle change. But, I can say that a major plus for this diet is the fact that I saw loss in areas that I never have seen a loss in before. Such as my flanks (love handles), a lot in my stomach I lost 3.75 inches!, and some in my thy area. I did not lose anything in my breasts. This is a plus because I work very hard to find the biggest padded bras possible to make it look like I have something. HAHAHA! There was also, absolutely no mood changes either. I was usually my chipper self!
More importantly, I learned more about people and myself during this program. I love who I am and who I become during this entire process. I learned to not care what others think, since this is a rather extreme diet (please see previous RANT post), I learned that my husband and kids love me the way I am diet or no diet, and I learned that I love who I am.

So, would I recommend this program? Yes, I would, as long as you are a dedicated and determined person in anything that you do. It is so important not to deviate from the diet at all. The counselors are wonderful, especially Christy, who was my WeightNot counselor, who actually has been reading my blog! She was available to me whenever I needed her. There was actually a weekend where I emailed her and she emailed me back in less than 24 hours.
So, if you still aren’t sure and you have some other questions to ask me leave them below in the comment area and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible.

If you do decide to do it, tell them I sent you, and I believe they still have introductory pricing too! So, you can get it for cheap. I believe, there is a discount, if you were recommended too.  I don't know how it works, you would need to talk to them, but, even if you can't use it, still tell them that you heard the program was awesome and want to try it!  (I still have to read all those details!)
Those of you already on it, please tell me more about how you are doing. I want to encourage you and help be a building block in your success!
I will be blogging more later about the transition period and my exercise regimen. I will even post my workout routine for those who want to know. And, I will have my before and after photos posted up as soon as I can get my camera working.
I hope to continue my revolution and spread the revolution to others!

With love, a skinnier and happier Nicole!

Final Week!!!!

So, I have been doing rather well.

HOWEVER, I screwed up somewhere. I was supposed to have injections until the end of the week, but for some reason, I only had enough until Sunday. Which is no problem, I got in touch with my coordinator and she had me follow the last day procedures, which is continue on the 500 calories for three days after the last injection, and then bump my calories up after that. We are keeping my appointment the same, which is this coming Monday, to get all the details for the transition period. I am so proud of myself. I have done rather well in my opinion.

Total amount lost is…………

22.2 lbs

So, that’s only 14.2 lbs left to reach my goal weight. I am worried about eating more calories and possibly gaining weight. But, I hope as long as I exercise, I should be ok.

So, Andrea is in her first week of the WeightNot program and requested that I give some tips to help with the diet. The diet is not easy, you have to have extreme will power but it does get easier as long as you do not deviate from the diet. Here is what my day looks like:

8:00 am – I have already had a full glass of water

9:00-9:30 – I eat my melba toast with my vitamins

10:30 – I eat my first fruit

11:45 – I eat my lean meat and cup of vegetables

1:00 – I take my second round of vitamins

2:30 – I eat my second piece of melba toast

5:30 – I eat my second round of lean meat and cup of vegetables

7:00 – I have my second piece of fruit

8:30 – BED!!

Going to bed and lots of water is key! I make sure I always have water on me and I get to sleep. I am one of those people, that the longer I am up the more hungry I become. Also, when I make dinner the night before, I make an extra serving for my lunch the next day. I plan, plan, plan. I know it is hard to stick to this diet but, you will not see results unless you do. Try your hardest! And spread out your foods through out the day. It helps, plus I am a really busy person that it makes it difficult to think about food. But trust me. As long as you don’t cheat it does become easier not to deviate.

Where have I been?!?!?

Week three is now down for the count and I can't believe I haven't been on here since last Wednesday!  I have been so busy with grad school projects, dance, softball, and just life.  But  I have been going strong on this diet!  This week I was a little bit more hungry than usual and I cheated on Saturday night by having a sliver of ice cream cake and OH BOY did that treat me badly!  I was in the bathroom for an hour that night! Never again will I cheat!  I don't know why my body reacted that way but it did and it wasn't pleasant.  The good news was I still lost .2 the next weigh in, still I do not reccommend cheating! It kicks your butt! Literally! LOL!

Here is the total weight loss so far!

13.4 lbs!

Much better loss this week than last! This week, I was also WAY more comfortable and I am starting to visually see my results all over rather than just on the scale!  I am loving it.  Anyway, off to do more grad school work!!! AHHHH

What I was looking for...

So, did the tips that my coordinator told me to do, and guess what, this morning....I dropped 1.6 lbs! OH YEAH! That is what I was looking for.  She also got back to me with information from the doctor.  It seems that the possible "pain" I was feeling in thigh could be from water retention, which the HCG does.  Well after taking in some more fiber and getting rid of some waste (which I was having problems doing) I am pain free and more comfortable.  Plus, seeing my weight go down on the scale.  Awesome!!

So today, I was outside with the kids and my husband enjoying the cool, but nice weather...I miss being able to run around with them.  However; in 5 weeks time I will be able too!  I am counting down!

I am still hungry at times, but I eat either my fruit or melba toast and I am good to go until one of my meal times.  I love the oranges I have been eating! They are so sweet and filling that I could eat them all day and be fine!  I wish they weren't so expensive.

Anyway here is a start to an awesome 3rd week!

Tuesday, March 23, 2010

Down for the Count....

Week 2 has come and gone.  The total weight loss to date....

9.2 lbs

Not nearly what I hoped for.  I spoke with my awesome coordinator about the possible side effects I am feeling, and she is checking with the doctor.  As for the weight loss issue, she said I should still be loosing .5 to 1 lb per day.  Well, thats not happing.  So, she gave me a couple of tips.  I now need to continue to drink the super slimming tea every night and up my fiber pills to 2, 3 times a day.  So, we will try this and see what happens.

Today I want to reflect what I miss the most....

My morning coffee with Hazelnut creamer
Walking on the nice warm days
Eating out with my girlfriends
Eating Chocolate Cake!

But, I am doing well and I am ok with the change of lifestyle.  Here is to a better week!

RANT!!!

Ok today is a day for ranting!  Feel free to rant with me!  I am a very open person, and when I choose to tell you something about my life, I am choosing to tell you not, that I am choosing you to tell me negative things about the decision I made.  I KNOW that this is an extreme diet, I KNOW that there is a possibility that I could fail in the end! I DON'T need people telling me this!  Instead, I should be supported whether you agree with my decision or not because, I would encourage you not put you down!  Being on a diet is hard enough, then to have people, that you shouldn't really care about their opinions, telling you negative things just brings more negative and hardship on the diet! UGH!!!  I have learned my lesson no more telling people anything but my VERY close friends and family!  Geez!

Other than that, diet is going well!  Feel free to rant today!

Slow down, Grad School, & Not Enough Time in the Day!

Ok I think the slow down of the weight loss is coming.  They warned me that there may be a period where the weight flucuates and some days I will loose a couple pounds and other days a couple ounces.  So that can be a little discouraging but I am still willing to continue to work at it.

So today will be a short post, because I am in Grad school and I have been working away on this conference topic which is really a opinion topic but we have to find scholarly references.  UGGHH! So I must carry on with that! Which means, that since I work full time, the only time I have is when I get home, and I must get dinner going for the rest of the fam and then make mine, plus do homework, housework, baths, etc....therefore, there is not enough time in the day for me to do all this.  P.S. I am EXHUSTED!!!

So the detox phase is over, but I am starting to really like the tea.  I have to save it for the transition phase though, so I am looking for some tea to supplement the coffee I am missing in the morning.

Anyway, got to go finish up my homework!

Tuesday, March 16, 2010

Full Week....Drumroll Please.....

Today marks 7 days of injections and 5 days of the low calorie diet and for the five days of the low calorie diet I have lost a total of:

7.6 lbs!

So far the diet has worked, because that is about 1 lbs per day if you count the 2 days of loading.  I skip injections every 7th day, and today, I could feel the difference.  I was more hungry than I have been.  So what does that mean?  The HCG injections are working.  With them I am more full, without them, I am hungry.

Tonight I really didn't feel like cooking (I was suppose to make chicken soup) so I decided to make something quick and easy.  Instead of lean meat, I can substitute 3 egg whites and 1 full egg.  I made that instead and ate that with a cup of romaine lettuce, and it was quite tasty!  and I was full after the meal.

In addition, my keytone level raised to moderate today, whereas the past couple of days it was a trace and small.  The moderate means my body is really starting to get rid of the fat! Awesome! What's even better, I could tell the difference this time!

My mood has been good, my energy stable, and my hunger under control! Here is to another successful week ahead!

Monday, March 15, 2010

Fire! Fire!

So, the diet has been going good. I have managed to stick to the menu I prepared and two things I have eaten in the past two days have made my mouth spit flames!  All it calls for is a 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper and for some reason that stuff is HOT! (and I love spicy food).  I have managed to drink a liter of water before even finishing my dinner and in turn, I am extremely full!  So, the water thing does work!

Anyway, yesterday I started the Ketosis stick measurements to see how well I am burning fat.  The problem with this is I have to match colors to the side of the bottle and it's hard to tell which color is which.  I wish those type of things would use very different colors, like PINK! it would be much easier to read.

The hunger is no longer an issue at all.  So, although this is an extreme method of loosing weight it is working and I am not hungry like they said when I initially started. The HCG must be working!

Tomorrow, I will be on this for an entire week (including the loading phase) and can't wait to tell everyone what I have lost so far!

Better Day, Late Night

Yesterday was much better than Friday and I have to say that I am rather proud of sticking to it when I went out with friends to celebrate one of my best friends birthday.  We went to the movies, and I brought my orange and ate that during the movie.  Then we went to dinner at this wonderful resturant in downtown Frederick, Cacique's.  I ended up ordering a side of broccoli, which was not on the list of items I am allowed to eat but, I was desperate, I only had my super slimming tea at that point.  I waited until I got back to my other best friends house to eat my dinner that I made prior to leaving for the night and I did however; between the movie and dinner it was a little later than expected.  I would have blogged last night but by the time I got home I was exhusted.

I was less hungry today than I was on Friday, but I think that has something to do with the fact that I am more busy running around and sleeping in a little later at home, than at work.  We will see Monday if this is going to be an ongoing trend of being less hungry.

I was going to do my first VLOG today, however; I am going to wait until I have been on it a whole week for the results to show, and believe me they are starting to show.  I can't see it visually yet, but according to my scale the number is going down.  So, the first video is probably going to be next sunday.

Here is to my Revolution 2010!

Hungry is a Nasty Word...

That I used all day today....

I was told that I would probably be hungry for the first couple of days, as well as have a headache and maybe moody.  Well, I was hungry and had a headache, but the girls at my office remained extremely positive for my sake.

In my kit I recieved a binder prepared for me with a bunch of recipes that I decided to try out.  For lunch I had a Chicken Salad, which entails chicken rubed with spices and a cup of lettuce.  I had 1 (that's right one) Melba toast with it and it was very good.  For dinner I had Chicken Italia.  That included chicken with spiced up tomatoes on the top and bottom.  Not so good.  I don't like tomatoes but figured maybe I would like them with all the spices tossed on it.  WRONG! I still don't like them.  I included a yummy orange for my side and my 1 Melba toast.

I am now drinking the slimming tea as part of my detox phase, and again, not trying to sound picky but...I don't like tea.  However; I am going to be a soldier and drink it up.

The hardest part is sitting down with the rest of the fam while they eat what ever they want and I eat this strict food!  My husband is lucky to eat tons of junk and still be rail thin.  My girls are active and they burn off everything they eat too, but I am sure to watch their "junk food intake" as well.

I am staying strong and hopefully will be seeing results very soon.

I wanted a revolution right?  Here is to truding on!

Eat Like a King...

Cuz, this is the last time you'll be eating that way for a while!

Day two of the "loading" phase has been wonderful!  I have eaten every unhealthy, fattening, high-caloric food there is in this world!  And the result....not feeling so hot, tired, and uncomfortable.  However; tomorrow is the begining of a very stressful number of days.

This afternoon I prepared my menu for the next week and tonight I am prepping my lunch for tomorrow.  I am very sad that I can't do my morning routine of coffee with my yummy Hazelnut creamer!  Instead I will be drinking tea; which I am not fond of!

The injections are going well, except, Note to self-pick a FATTY spot to inject.  Otherwise it hurts like heck!  I am hoping they become a bit faster to do in the AM.  Currently, it takes me 5 minutes of staring at my stomach talking myself in to doing it! Then, I do it and wonder why I sike myself out b/c it doesn't hurt!

Here is to getting through my first day of the low-calorie diet tomorrow!  I will be checking in then!

Okay, It has been a month

Ok, it has been a month and I have gotten no where. To be honest I have lost all motivation necessary to keep this up. However; I heard about the Reveal MedSpa, WeightNot program, and decided to look in to it. Here is what I know...

  • I would be under the direction of a board certified physician
  • It is a 40 day program
  • Every morning I inject myself with hormones that apparently will help burn off fat cells
  • In conjunction with the injections I will need to be on a low calorie diet
  • The average person who did this program lost 30-40 pounds

The girls that I have spoken with have been extremely helpful and nice! I discussed it with my husband and decided to try the program. Now obviously, the program is not free, nor cheap. It is quite a pretty penny, but since I have tried everything I could possibly try, from pills, to shakes and everything in between, I figured I would try this as well.

What I will do now, is VLOG & BLOG my personal review of this program. I am no way endorsing this program nor, getting paid by Reveal for the review. I want to be able to give people a way to learn more about the program from a real person who is struggling to lose weight and has an honest opinion about it. I don't know how many times you hear stories from actors/actresses and paid people by the company about how good something is, when it has been exaggerated. When I was researching this program I was not able to find anything that gave me opinions about the program. So, I guess I am the first.

Here is what has happened so far...I can only do the program if my blood work comes back ok. They check for numerous amounts of things, from current hormone levels to the thyroid information. I did this on Friday and am waiting for Reveal to call me and set up my appointment for my consultation and information session. From what I know, I will only go to the Reveal headquarters twice. Once in the beginning to get my first photo taken and my materials and then at the end to take my after photo and for them to give me the tools I will need to maintain. Once I have the appointment, I will beginning posting BLOGS on a daily basis and VLOG's on a weekly basis.

Yay! I am so excited and can't wait to give more details!

Here's to my Revolution 2010!
