March Subscription Saturday

Yay!! Another Subscription Saturday linkup is live!!! This month's glam bag was all about "The Great Escape!" & it came with another stellar bag!  This month's bag was nautical and made me think summer is near!!

1.  GlamRX Mini Freestyle Palette - So adorable and so useful for everything from makeup pans to bobby pins and other metal accessories!!  Plus they gave us 20% off a GlamRX Touch Up Palette!

2.  Yaby Eyeshadow Refill - Never heard of this makeup before but I am excited to try it! I got two great colors!  They also gave us 25% off any order at their website!

3.  Juice Beauty Hydrating Mist - Okay can I just say I am a HUGE fan of the Juice Beauty products??? I love every time I get a new sample from them! Their products are always so wonderful!!  We also got 20% off a purchase of $30 or more too!!

4.  La Fresh Travel Lite Makeup Remover Wipes - I am always in search of a great makeup remover! I can't wait to try these out (I will be tonight thank you!!)  They gave us an additional 30% off beauty wipes on their website too!!

February Subscription Saturday

Welcome to my second Subscription Saturday Linkup!!  This months glam bag was all about the RED CARPET!  This fun little bag smelled like summer...and only because the bag was made out of the same material floaties are made from! haha!

Anyway, this bag gave me a fun tutorial idea for this Tutorial Tuesday!!

Here's what was in the bag!

1.  Lash Card These little numbers are a new tool to be added with your brushes and applicators.  It apprently helps you have no running and smudging of your mascara.  We will see =)  They offer a buy 2 get one free as their extra!
2. Pixi Flawless & Poreless primer.  Give me a new primer any day! I love trying new primers!  In addition to the primer we can also take 20% off our order! SCHWEET!
3.  MICA Beauty Cosmetics Gel Eyeliner.   Okay so I am starting to have a huge addiction to eyeliners period, and this is enabling the addition even more!  In addition to this super silky liner, we get an addition 30% off our purchase!  WOWZA!
4. POP Beauty Smokey Lash Kapow mascara.  Another great product I would love to try!  I love to try mascaras too!  POP Beauty is also offering 20% off to ipsy subscribers! =)
5. Coastal Scents Glitz and Glamour eyeshadow palette.  My palette came with Candlelight, Gunmetal, Incognito, & Ashen.  A fabulous set of colors and an awesome discount of 25% too! I'm excited to try this palette since I have heard a lot about Coastal Scents but have yet to try their products.

4. Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter I have to admit I was nervous when I saw the name....blood?!? But then I smelled it and with this horrible dry air that continually pumps in to my office, this is heaven to me!  Plus, we can get 20% off at their website!
5. Nailtini Straight Up Color Nail Lacquer Mine came in Bloody Mary (am I sensing a theme with the "Blood" here?!?) Not only can I save 30% at their website but I think I also have Manicure Monday's nails picked out! =)

Plus, it was the cutest darn bag. Just look at the details on the inside which fit's nicely with this months them of A True Star Will Always Shine!

Subscription Saturday

Many of us are subscribers of monthly beauty companies such as Birchbox or Ipsy (previously known as My Glam) and so I thought it would be fun to linkup and see what we all get! I was a subscriber to Birchbox but, due to too many disappointing boxes I have finally cancelled my membership after two years (that was a lot of "to's, too's, or two's in one sentence)!

Starting next Saturday (January 19th) and every third Saturday of each month I will host the Subscription Saturday linkup.  All you need to do is link up your blog post about your monthly subscription.

RULES:

1. The blog post must be a monthly subscription to a beauty sample company (ones like Birchbox or Ipsy)
2. The blog post must be current.  In other words, do not link up last months post, it must be the current month.  Just in case I need to be clearer, next week will have to be a blog post about January's contents from the subscription, your link must be for January's contents
3. You must put my button somewhere in your blog post (it will be available to you on the day of the posting)

Other than those 3 items link away.  Make sure you encourage your readers to go to others websites.  It's fun interacting with current and new readers!  So share the love.  That is the purpose of me hosting these linkup's anyway. =)

It's Friday!! Can I Getta...

#HOLLA!!!

Okay, y'all. I have been working my little tush off prepping this blog for what I feel is a relaunch.  I have finally decided on the schedule starting next week!!! YAY!!

Weekly Posts to expect:

Monday's = Manicure Monday's &&&& It will be a LINKUP!!! So, Sunday get your little digits ready for some linkup action and check back here for the linkup!  There will be a button & everything!  I'll have the rules posted this coming Monday, along with my Manicure!

Tuesday's = Tutorial Tuesday is staying, this time....drum roll please...they will be mainly makeup tutorials and ready for the crescendo !?!?  I am going to do them via video. You know editing a video is so much easier to me than doing the photos...call me lazy but this is how it will be done!

Friday's = Fashion Friday is here to stay AND it will be a LINKUP!!! Stay tuned for more information about the rules for this link up too! It will be fun, Fun, FUN!!!

Sunday's = Sunday Spotlight is also here to stay, just in a different way.  More information is to come this Sunday so stay tuned.  However, if you want to click the little envelope under Contact Me to let me know you are already interested in being spotlighted go right ahead. =)
