What is your favorite reason to be a blogger?
Does there need to be a reason?
I'm really tired of hearing the same "outlet for creativity,
passion, etc, etc." Those answers seem
so trite and rehearsed now. I blog
simply because I want to. I blog because
I found a great deal and I'm sure someone thousands of miles from me googling
while I post could benefit from the deal.
I blog because my dog is cute and I want everyone to know it. I blog because somewhere someone wants to
know how to make a coffee filter flower.
I blog because I need a reason to take pictures with my SLR (FB is tired
of me posting). Again, does there need
to be a reason?
What can we expect from beautiful disaster in the next coming months?
More posting! I've been really bad in the past about
posts. And probably some tutorials on
coffee filter flowers. I keep coming up
with new creations.
Who are your Fashion/Makeup Icons?
I love Kate Lanphear. She does such amazing things w/ black, it
always looks fresh. I used to be
allergic to black clothes but she's made me a convert. And I can't really get over her shock of blonde
hair.
Scott Schuman is not a fashion
icon per se, but his photographs are simply amazing. The way he captures street fashion from all
corners of the world and not just the "fashion capitals" is very
inspiring.
If you could live anywhere in the world where
would you be and why?
This is so hard to answer
because I would want to move every 3 months!
Though out of all the places I've been I'd probably choose
Thailand. It has a modern metropolis,
Bangkok, picturesque islands w/in a 2 hour flight, mountains to explore, and
best of all a noodle soup cart around every corner. Thai noodle soups are perhaps some of my
favorite foods...possibly knocking out the holy french fry!
