Make-Up for Beginners Part I

Okay so if you are a newbie or someone who hasn't worn make up in a good long while (mom!) here is what you will need:

Green Correction Stick (they don't always come in sticks but they are always green)-This will cover all your redness

Yellow Correction Stick (again, not always in the form of a stick but are always yellow)-This will cover your dark under eye circles

Concealer-This will cover any flaws your foundation and your corrector sticks couldn't cover that well.  Make sure you either get your skin tone or a shade lighter.  If you get a shade lighter this would be for the purpose of putting in on prior to your foundation.  If you get your exact skin tone you can use this after your foundation.

The green and yellow sticks and the concealers are not something you may need to use everyday, but it is good to keep on hand when you do need it.

Liquid foundation-This will go all over your face to give you skin an even finish

Powder foundation-This is to set your liquid foundation (plus it is a good backup for extra coverage over your concealer)

Blush-Start with natural colors to play with this will give you a natural look and make you not look so flushed with foundation only

Mascara-Use this to give your lashes a little taste of make up!  The best drug store brand is the L'Oreal double extend!!  Love this stuff!

Top 3 Hair Care Products

Hi Everyone: So I have a hard time trying to find videos and information for those of us with short hair. So, I did a quick video on my top 3 hair care products that I use for having short hair.  I showcase just a couple of the products, but it is really the line of products that are the best.

First up is the Herbal Essences BODY ENVY products. You can find this at your local drugstore.  My Walmart has the big bottles for $5.00 but I always have a coupon for $1.00 off so I usually pick it up for $4.00/bottle.

Next is the Logics line of products.  I mostly use the thickining spray, but I do use alot of the other products as well.  Here is where you can find it online:  http://www.sleekhair.com/haircare-logics-by-matrix.html
The thickining spray has been discountinued but they have a new aerial liquid volume that works the same.  This stuff is rather expensive (the spray used to be $31.99) but it has lasted me a good long while.

Lastly, is my Rusk Wired flexible styling cream.  This product could be found here: http://www.drugstore.com/qxp58776/rusk/wired_flexible_styling_creme.htm for $9.52.  Love it!

Here is the video!

ENJOY!

Birchbox Haul

Hi Everyone! Here is my Birchbox Haul. What is Birchbox? Well, it is a $10/month subscription service in which you get high-end/quality deluxe samples mailed to your home around the 10th of each month. It is really cool because if you love to try out new things it gives you a chance to try it and then buy it later, or if you don't like the product you don't buy it. There is also a point accumulation system as well. Each month I will do a Birchbox haul so you can see what I get.
